Directed the production of an in-engine cinematic in CryEngine 3 for AMD, highlighting TressFX, involving scripting, project planning, build cycles, and close collaboration with both AMD and Crytek's technical teams, as well as Simon West's production expertise.
The AMD Ruby tech demo was an in-engine cinematic project built in CryEngine 3, created to showcase AMD's TressFX hair rendering technology. Developed in collaboration with IllFonic and with assistance from Simon West's production company, the demo aimed to highlight the visual capabilities of TressFX within a dynamic, real-time sequence. The project involved close cooperation with both AMD and Crytek's engineering teams to integrate and feature the technology effectively. The final project was never released due to issues with CryEngine and TressFX.
• Worked with AMD on creating an in-engine cinematic to promote their technology TressFX in CryEngine 3
• Worked with team to script, project planning, build & iterate on in-engine sequence with assistance from Simon West’s production company
• Worked closely with AMD & Crytek engineering teams to create experience
